Hi Everybody, I am Dustin Villarreal
I was born on Dec.1, 1990, I am 15 years old and I have Apert
Syndrome. I have had 15 to 16 surgeries and none of them were
painful that I remember. About 2 years ago, I had a mid face
advancement and I had to wear the red system. My last surgery was in
2005 and that was my fore head. The first surgery was a Craniotomy
when I was 5 months old. I stayed in ICU for a day or 2 then I went
to my own room. Then when I am in my room I mostly do anything I
want. Sleep, eat, drink water, or even watch TV in the room. I am
now getting my surgeries done down in Dallas and the surgeons name
is Dr. Jeffery Fearon. Dr. Fearon is really nice to me and he is an
awesome surgeon. He comes up to see me after surgery to check up on
me.
I live in Olathe, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. I am home
schooled. I like Soccer, Basketball, Football, and riding my Honda 4
wheeler. I am a very nice young man and I am a hard worker. I go to
CAP, that stands for Civil Air Patrol. It is almost like the Army.
My favorite music is Rock, Country, and Gospel. I play the guitar,
drums, piano, slide steel guitar, synthzier, bells, ! and bass
guitar. I like playing them a lot, it is fun. I am making songs up
when I am playing the piano.
I help my mom and dad cut the grass, home repair, and anything
that is not to hard for me. Which nothing is hard for me, I am a
hard worker. I work on something until it is done. I do anything.
