Marco's Page

Hello everyone

My name is Marco Garcia and I was born in Guadalajara Jalisco. When I was born the doctors told my parents that I was not going to walk, but fortunately they were wrong. That is why sometimes I think that I am a walking miracle to my family. In my family there is a total of seven of us. I have five brothers my mother and my father. As a baby I was born with Apert syndrome and that has brought me to have many challenges in my life. Growing up I had a hard time in school and in my social life. The one thing that has helped me the most to overcome all my fears and challenges is becoming a member of my church. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I believe that through that religion I have found many answers to my problems in life. My family is another special part of my life, because every time I have needed them they were there for me. My brothers have taught me many things that have been useful to me.  And my parents have taught me many things that I did not know before, but I know now. I would say that if it was not for my parents and my brothers I would not be here today, and I would not be who I am today.

In my child hood I had to study real hard in order to advance to the next grade. But thanks to my family I was able to go through elementary school, middle school, and high school. Right now I am currently enrolled in the University of Texas at Brownsville pursuing a degree in education with a specialization in special education. Well I guess that is all I have to say right now but if I have more information I will add it to my web page
